We are Dale and Cheri Dixon, life-long residents of Greene County and owners and residents of this beautiful 25 acre farm located in the gently rolling hills of southwestern Ohio. Purchased in 1994, the 1880's farm home was in need of extensive repair. As owner/ operators of Dale Dixon Home Improvements Inc. for over 25 years, we felt confident about taking on that project.
One of the livestock barns on our property, built in the 1870's, also needed renovation. After the needed repairs it was featured in 2009 on PBS "Our Ohio" program. In the fall of 2010, a barn quilt square was added. We are honored to be part of the Greene County 4-H Quilt Square Trail. Fittingly, our quilt square design is called "Wedding Bouquet". In addition to these wonderful buildings, a variety of animals call this home including pasture-fed Scotch Highland cattle and American Blackbelly hair sheep, free-range chickens, ducks, ponies, goats, and honey bee hives. Our 2.5 acre pond located just beyond the large paver stone patio draws local and migratory water fowl all year long.
